Travel back in time
Whether you want to read a book under the 16th Century sweet chesnut tree on the front lawn, listen to music in the Italian rose garden, have a glass of wine whilst watching the sunset over Glastonbury Tor or warm up by the Kadai in the courtyard there are many unique spaces within the grounds. Maintained by our two gardeners and Robert our robotic lawn mower who keeps the squirrels off the lawns. Our team work tirelessly to make the two acres of outdoor space, a tranquil environment for anyone in residence. We are so proud of the heritage and legacy that has been left by every custodian of The Old Vicarage and it is now our duty to take care of this beautiful part of the world
The Veg Garden
Okay we are really proud of this space. Our ethos has always been to focus on sustainability and community and this is abundant in our organic Veg Garden. Championing Charles Dowding and his "no dig" philosophy (we championed this philosophy so much Charles gave us a visit) we have managed to grow a variety of produce from lemongrass and chillies to pink celery, our tools and plugs are supplied from the local garden shop reducing our carbon footprint
R&R Poolside
Margaritas by the pool, why not?
Quite possibly one of our favourite activities is to relax by the pool. Hosting loungers, a chill out sofa, bean bags, a pizza oven and state of the art Webber BBQ this is the perfect space for a pizza party in the sun. When the sun goes down why not watch the world go by under a starry sky. Unwind in our start of the art 8 person cedar wood hot tub located by the orangery so you won't feel the chill
